Living Together or In Solitary

Some animals such as elephant, live in groups. They stay together for the most part of their lives.

Animals such as the tigers, prefer to live in solitary but gather at certain times of the year.

Other animals such as the zebras, horses, lions and buffaloes live together within their own groups.

Living together in groups helps species to survive or escape from enemies, predators and rivals. This makes it easier for them to get food and find or build shelter.

Some animals prefer to live in solitary. The spider, lynx, snakes, leopard and panda live solitary lives. They stay alone most of their time except during mating season.
